SCERA announces May 22-23 auditions for “Brigadoon,” the final show of the 2017 Summer Season at SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre
The SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre announces auditions for the third and final show of its 2017 summer season, “Brigadoon.” It will be directed by Jerry Elison, with music direction by Dana Cardon. Julie Bonifay will serve as stage manager.
“Brigadoon” will play August 4-19 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays @ 8:00pm at SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre and will tour to BYU Education Week for four performances August 22-25.
Auditions will be held Monday, May 22 or Tuesday, May 23 from 7:00-9:00pm at SCERA Center for the Arts, 745 South State, Orem. Callbacks, for those invited, will be held Thursday, May 25, and will include a dance audition.
All roles roles are available. Auditioners ages 16 and older should prepare to sing 16 bars from a Broadway musical. An accompanist or IPOD playback will be available – please bring your music. Auditions are done by appointment, and you can submit your audition form online and sign up for a time at
www.scera.org under the Stage tab. A resume and headshot is helpful to bring with you, but is not required.
