General Auditions Announced
BCT will be holding general auditions for their 13|14 Season on May 27 & 28, 2013.
Auditions will take place in 5-minute appointments between 10am-3pm each day. To schedule an appointment, contact BCT Resident Stage Manager Kristy J. Martin by email:
km@bctheater.org or phone: 208-331-9224 x204. Email is preferred. Actors should come prepared with two monologues totaling no more than four minutes combined. Actors should also bring a headshot and resume. Boise Contemporary Theater is a professional company hiring Equity and Non-Equity Actors.
All interested actors are encouraged to audition. There will be many roles to be cast during the season, which includes four full productions, eight readings and a collaboration with the Boise Philharmonic.
Noteworthy roles to be cast include:
Rose in the World Premiere of Warren (or) Those People by Brian Quirk. Rose is in her 80’s or 90’s, fiercely independent, cantankerous and a product of her times but with a heart of gold. January and February 2014.
Anne Frank in a BCT collaboration with the Boise Philharmonic scheduled for January 2014.
