BIG IDEA THEATRE 2012 SEASON - Big Idea Theatre


Big Idea Theatre will be holding general auditions for their remaining 2012 Season on January 28 from 10am-3pm.

Please email
postmaster@bigideatheatre.com with a preferred time, we will try to get you as close to that time as possible. Audition time slots will be given on a first come basis. Auditions will be scheduled in 5 minute incriments. Auditions will be at:

WHAT TO BRING/PREPARE
Please prepare two contrasting monologues (No longer than 3 minutes total) and provide two 8"x10" photos and current resumes.
If you are interested in auditioning for The Live and Undead of King Henry V and/or Love Labour's Lost then please allow for one of your monologues to be a Classical/Shakespearean monologue.

Performance Dates: May 25 - June 16
The day after the September 11 attacks, a young woman goes on a blind date while awaiting word on the fate of her twin sister. This outlandish comedy examines the issues of destiny versus free will and chance versus coincidence. Did we mention there's a sock puppet?Recent Tragic Event Character Breakdown:

Andrew - Male, Mid 20s to 30s: Waverly's blind date. A bit socially awkward, Bookworm

The Life and Undead of King Henry V

Join us for Shakespeare with a twist: England is slowly descending into chaos as a horrifying epidemic turns its citizens into an angry horde of zombies! Watch Prince Hal transform into Henry V as he struggles to defeat this ghastly and seemingly invincible plague.

A group of dissolute rockers vow to change their ways, swearing off booze, drugs and women for a full year. But just after they utter their oaths of celibacy and sobriety, they are besieged by a bevy of beautiful and talented women. Wild antics ensue as the men attempt to win the hearts and hands of the women they love!
