Info about the show and production:

“THE STORY: Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.” —Dramatist Play Service

“ALMOST, MAINE is a series of nine amiably absurdist vignettes about love, with a touch of good-natured magic realism…witty, romantic, unsentimental. A beautifully structured play, with nifty surprise endings (most but not all of them happy).” —The New York Times

First read-thru is Wednesday, January 10th 7 pm - 10 pm
Rehearsals start Monday March 18th

Rehearsals will start Thursday January 11th and will be Monday through Thursdays, 7 pm - 10 pm and Saturdays 12pm - 4 pm during January and March. February rehearsals will be three days per week, TBD. Please note that due to the construction of the play, essentially 9 separate scenes, not every actor is called each rehearsal day.

CONFLICTS - “Not at this time” is not an answer. We will only consider 2 conflicts for the run of the rehearsal process. Any more is at the discretion of the director. No conflicts are allowed for the mandatory tech week or performances. If you are auditioning for another show, please let us know.
