AND THEN THERE WERE NONE - Jackson Theatre

Auditions for Dinner Theatre
And Then There Were None

Friday December 16 & Saturday December 17

Jackson, MI - December 7, 2016

Center Stage Jackson is excited to announce auditions for its dinner theatre production of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, directed by Deon Ojan, produced by Doug Meyers and assistant producer Karen Gerring.

Auditions will be held on two dates: Friday December 16th from 6:30pm-9:00pm and Saturday December 17th from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Jackson's First Presbyterian Church, 743 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, Michigan 49201. Parking and entrance are located at the rear of the church and will be clearly marked. Actors need only attend one audition, and are free to drop by any time within the audition window.

In this Agatha Christie classic, ten strangers invited to an exclusive resort on a remote island arrive expecting to be pampered in the lap of luxury. They soon discover their unknown host seeks revenge for their alleged past crimes. Trapped with no way off the island, the visitors begin to mysteriously die, one by one. The terrorized survivors struggle to understand and uncover which of them is the killer before none of them are left.
And Then There Were None performances will be held at the beautiful Sandhill Crane Vineyards in Jackson.

This production calls for eight males and three females.

Actors can expect 2-5 minutes to get familiar with scenes before reading and reacting with other actors. Actors may be asked to stay to read with other actors. Actors may choose to prepare English, Scottish, or Irish accents if desired. All should bring their schedules and be ready to indicate any potential conflicts between January 2, 2017 and March 5, 2017.

A read through and delivery of scripts will be held on Tuesday December 20th from 6:30-9:00pm, with Monday through Thursday rehearsals beginning January 2nd, 2016 at Jackson's First Presbyterian Church.

Depending on casting and time constraints, there is the possibility of rehearsing two different endings, the idea being to give each audience an option to choose their ending.

Dinner theatre performances of And Then There Were None will be held February 17-19, 24-26, & March 3-5, 2017. A third weekend was added to this year's production to accommodate this popular event that quickly sold out four of six performances last season. A three-course meal will begin to be served at 7pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 4pm on Sundays. Performances will begin at 8pm and 5pm, respectively.

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
