ALL TOGETHER NOW! - Gettysburg Community Theatre

“Open Auditions At Gettysburg Community Theatre”

Gettysburg Community Theatre, the non-profit 501c3 organization located at 49 York Street in historic downtown Gettysburg, PA, reopened in April for in-person public performances after being shuttered for a year. Now in its 13th season, GCT continues to offer educational, performance, and volunteer opportunities for all ages and abilities year-round.

GCT will hold open auditions for singers of all ages and abilities in All Together Now! (a broadway musical revue) on July 18 or 19 at 6pm for children and 7pm adults. The rehearsal schedule will be created based on the availability of the cast. The performances will be on stage November 12-15. Then on August 8 or 9, GCT will hold open auditions for students K-5th Grade at 6pm and 6th-12th Grade at 7pm, to be cast in the musical James And The Giant Peach, which will rehearse during a musical theatre class that meets weekly at 6pm Tuesdays starting after Labor Day to prepare for the performances on stage weekends December 3-12.

Everyone interested in auditioning for these productions should prepare one verse of a broadway song of their choice or they can sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” or “Happy Birthday”. Bring calendars with you to auditions in order to write down any unavailable dates on audition form.

Tickets for in person and streaming can be purchased at
www.GettysburgCommunityTheatre.org with tickets also on sale at the door if any seats are available, but since GCT is a very small 80 seat theatre, it is highly recommended that tickets be ordered in advance online. Auditions and volunteer opportunities can also be found online.
