A CHORUS LINE - Phoenix Productions

Phoenix Productions will hold auditions for A Chrous Line. Winner of almost every major theatrical award including the Tony, Drama Desk and Pulitzer Prize, A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition. Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include What I Did for Love, One, I Can Do That, At the Ballet, The Music and the Mirror, and I Hope I Get It. A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, A Chorus Line was instantly recognized as a classic.

We are looking for 9 females and 10 male performers (plus cut dancers/pit singers) aged 18+ who are true triple threat performers. We are committed to non-traditional and diverse casting.

Auditions are IN PERSON with sign up beginning 30 minutes before each session. Auditionees are only asked to attend ONE session, unless otherwise requested by the creative team. Each audition session will begin with a dance call followed by a vocal audition. Auditionees are asked to prepare 32 bars of their best musical theater song.

For performers interested in being considered who cannot make any of the audition sessions, AUDITIONS can be submitted as a video submission to auditions@phoenixredbank.com.

Select performers will be asked to a callback session on Thursday August 5 (times to be scheduled) at the Phoenix Productions Rehearsal Center (59 Chestnut St. Red Bank, NJ 07701) please see our revised policies and procedures for our latest COVID-19 action plan.

ALL PARTICIPANTS will be asked to minimize outside social contact, restrict travel, and commit to making the production their personal bubble for the length of the process. Due to the nature of the show frequent COVID testing for all participants will be required. If you are unvaccinated and planning a trip, event, or participating in a large scale social function during the rehearsal process we ask that you do not audition for this production.
