Fly is a 2009 play written by Trey Ellis and Ricardo Khan about the Tuskegee Airmen, the first black fliers in the U.S. military during World War II.
Jefferson Performing Arts Society will present FLY, written by Trey Ellis and Ricardo Kahn, a stage play about the Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, on February 4-13, 2022, at Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Directed by New Orleans native and recipient of the 2020 Big Easy Lifetime Achievement in Theater Tommye Myrick, whose production of August Wilson's Fences at Le Petit Theatre won the 1992 Big Easy Entertainment Award for Best Drama and Best Director.
Jefferson Performing Arts Society opens its 44th season with the dark comedy God of Carnage, a 2009 Broadway hit originally written in French by internationally acclaimed playwright Yasmina Reza.
Jefferson Performing Arts Society will open its first full season since 2019 with Yasmina Reza's The God of Carnage at Westwego Performing Arts Theatre on September 17, 2021.
