Performances: Friday, March 13, 2020 (8:00PM) & Saturday, March 14, 2020 (2:00PM). Composer, keyboardist, and creative force Phyllis Chen creates works that are as striking visually as they are aurally. Come see Lighting the Dark, the work the New York Times described as "spellbinding music” and “a fitting tribute to the modest, repetitive, yet quietly heroic work of women.” She will also present a brand new work, Floating Verses Morristown. These are followed by the world premiere of her work Automatoys, which will be crafted from material created in a free public workshop held at the Morris Museum on February 17, 2020.
