The Local Music Scene is an improv show that uses live music performed by local musicians as inspiration for improvised, comedic scenes. It is produced and hosted by Philip Simondet and directed by Sarah Arnold-Simondet, and has been running monthly at Bryant Lake Bowl since 2015.
MUSICAL GUEST: SESAY
Sesay is an artist based in Minneapolis Minnesota. Born in Sierra Leone, West Africa, He moved to the United States in 2004 at the age of 9 and began pursuing music.
Coming from a family of non musicians, Sesay found inspirations from Church, where he started playing the Djembe, an African drum at the age of 5 in his hometown, Sierra Leone.
His unlimited passion and talent for music lead him to various paths. From being on American Idol to opening for a touring band and now doing music full time.
