Set in Dublin, the story revolves around Guy, a talented but discouraged street musician, and a young Czech woman, simply known as Girl. Guy's music career has stalled, and he's on the verge of giving up.
Girl, a talented pianist who has recently arrived in the city, hears him play and is mesmerized. Touched by his music, she convinces him to record an album together. As they collaborate, a spark ignites between them. Their shared passion for music and their late-night songwriting sessions lead to a powerful connection.
"Once" is not your typical love story. The pasts of both characters are shrouded in a bittersweet mystery, leaving room for interpretation. The beauty of the musical lies in the emotional honesty and the power of music to transcend barriers and bring people together. Lauderhill Performing Arts Center And Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre Announce BROADWAY IN BROWARD
July 02, 2019The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) has partnered with Prather Productions to produce an exciting new musical theatre series, Broadway in Broward, at the state-of-the art venue beginning in November 2019. Four productions are planned for the 2019-2020 season: West Side Story, Once, Kinky Boots, and Beauty and the Beast.
