Actors' Playhouse Announces 2019 – 2020 Mainstage Season

Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre announces the five stellar Mainstage productions secured for its 2019 - 2020 Mainstage Season. The line-up includes exciting new theatrical offerings and Tony Award-winning musicals featuring Johnny Cash, ABBA, King Arthur, Detective Hercule Poirot and award-winning actress Elena María García.

Ring of Fire

October 30 - December 8, 2019

From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. Performed by five incredible actor/singer musicians who play 20 different instruments, this exciting musical features the songs "I Walk The Line," "A Boy Named Sue," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Ring of Fire," and more than two dozen classic hits. This portrait of The Man in Black is a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a unique musical legend, climaxing in a final concert that will both move and exhilarate.

Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express

This one-woman tour-de-force brings more than 20 characters to glorious life on stage by weaving together tales of love, marriage, immigration and identity through eccentric stories and whimsical song. Three-time Carbonell Award-winning Cuban-American actress Elena María García is magical on stage, blending observant humor and poignant moments with sociopolitical commentary. ¡Fuácata! finds endless humor in what it means to be a Latina in today's America. Mirroring the path of Lily Tomlin's Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, this new comedic gem propels you through 90 minutes of pure fun.
