Wushu Madness - 1 Table 2 Chairs is commissioned by JSPA and premiered at The 8th JB Arts Festival on July 2011 and received an invitation to perform at MyDance Festival, one of the Malaysia most prestigious dance festival on September 2011.
Come year 2012, this full-length performance with 'blend of contemporary urban action and wild imagination, melodramatic bent of the martial arts' as main line in production, by using two simple props - tables and chairs.
Can you imagine that these simple props can reveal a deeper side of human? Different stories are told with the choreography of wushu and dance. This performance aim to go beyond limitation of traditional arts presentation and bring the audience to reflect and contemplate: 'happening between you and me'.
