Originating from the true story Time Flies When You’re Alive, HBO Showcase (Ace Award nominee), IT’S TIME is a World Premiere production bringing humor and warmth to a story about self-discovery and conquering even the toughest challenges. This remarkable journey celebrates the paths we choose in life and the resilience of a young family, once broken, living in Los Angeles. Created by award winning writer/performer Paul Linke, it gives audiences a look at how a once lost young man found his way to success, by taking a chance and grabbing at the opportunities and strength that he saw around him.

BWW Review: BAD HABITS World Premiere Comedy at Ruskin Group Theatre Takes an Irreverent Look at Dedicated Nuns Trying to Save Their Struggling Convent
December 10, 2019

We all know how unintentionally funny nuns can be as they go about their daily lessons, ruler in hand, trying to get children to behave or do their lessons. Or perhaps not. But just imagine if you could be a fly on the wall in the early morning hours, listening in as they get together over coffee or while baking bread in their small kitchen and blissfully make fun of not only their students but each other, as well as their local Bishop who holds all the money needed to keep their beloved St. Cyril's convent and school from closing down. They smoke and swear while complaining about being old, jaded and stupid, but realize that just like their building and the entire neighborhood around them, we're just a?oeall dirt poor.a?? And incredibly funny!

There are four different playlets, newly written and presented by Eugene Pack, narrated by Rebecca Lane, that are 'put on their feet,' as the actors hold scripts and improvise their newly seen dialogue. This is now happening monthly. They delve into the crazy, neurotic, blundering, very relatable characters with relish, which works very nicely for that feeling where audiences and performers share all having fun together, feeding off of each others' enthusiasm. That's what you call a 'Good House.'
