LOS ANGELES, CA – Théâtre Raymond Kabbaz (TRK), the performance space at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, proudly presents Dance Camera West Film Festival, an exclusive set of North American and European dance films from March 31st to April 2nd, 2022 at 8:00pm in-person.

Including refreshing new work from France, Australia, Canada, Spain, the U.K., Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Kuwait, The Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, the three-day festival promises a balm against the negative effects of the past year, and a reset of the mind.

Through exclusive conversations with filmmakers, producers, dancers, choreographers, and festival directors on the stage of Theatre Raymond Kabbaz (or pre-recorded, depending on travel restrictions), learn how artists worldwide, all impacted by the same menace, have found resilient and creative responses to the global lockdown, all expressed through the media of dance and film.

This selection includes films by Antonia Economou, Aina Lanas, Viliam Dočolomanský, Jiří Matoušek, Amy Becker-Burnett, Luca Signoretti, Tobias Buchmann, Alicja Pahl, Javier De Frutos, Dan Löwenstein, John Degois, Joshua Ben-Tovim, Roseanna Anderson, and Katrina McPherson. There will be a Zoom interview with Grégoire Korganow and Amala Dianor (NIOUN REC) after the screenings.
