Join Baby Mahalia, Mrs. Charity Tina Leeper and the Las Vegas Combined Choir for Myrons Cabaret Jazz first-ever Gospel concert, featuring music from one of the most influential gospel artists in the world. In Mahalia! A Celebration of Gospel, Tina Leeper will take you on the journey of how she fell in love and used Mahalia as a guide through pivotal milestones in U.S history and her life. Moments such as The Civil Rights Movement as well as the assassinations and funerals of President John F. Kennedys and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, through legendary spirituals like Trouble of the World, Move On Up A Little Higher, Precious Lord and How I Got Over. Dont miss uplifting, soulful, spiritual moments set to the sounds of the one-and-only Queen of Gospel, Mahalia Jackson.
