Our annual family-friendly hit holiday musical comedy is back!

Macey Maid-a-Milking seems to be the only person in all of Christmastown to sense that something strange is going on; toys are coming out wrong, soldiers are out in force, and there must be an awful lot of naughty children, because coal production is higher than ever. Driven by a mission to keep the holiday alive, she soon finds herself in a lot of trouble - with the future of Christmas hanging in the balance.

"It's a non-stop laugh riot...judging by the audience reaction, Milking Christmas should become an annual holiday tradition, and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a favorite in cities across the country."- PerformINK, 2017

"Keeps the audience laughing from beginning to end."- KC Applauds, 2017

"Fresh, delightfully funny, well-scripted, chock full of interesting characters."- KC Applauds, 2018

"Chalk up another original musical that deserves a future. The creators and the group of actors theyve attracted for this and their previous show are formidably talented."- KC Studio, 2017

The Living Room Theatre Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

The Living Room Theatre is at 1818 McGee St, Kansas City.

The Living Room began as an unconventional theatre space in the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City, Missouri, founded in 2010 by Rusty Sneary and Shawnna Journagan. Originally an auto showroom, the two story building was transformed into a performance venue via the blood, sweat, passion and dedication of Sneary, Journagan and their friends and family in the KC community. Over the next ten years, The Living Room would produce over fifty shows, as well as dozens of staged readings and special theatrical events. In that time, they came to focus more on new works written, performed, and realized by local and expatriate Kansas City artists.
