The MTH Theater at Crown Center has announced casting for its annual Christmas revue A Spectacular Christmas Show. The production is directed and choreographed by Mandy Morris and the company features some of the finest singers and dancers in the area.
MTH Theater at Crown Center has unveiled an innovative and imaginative season to commemorate the organization's 20th Anniversary. Utilizing three different venues, MTH's 20th Anniversary Season highlights stories of resilience and resolve and includes Tony Award winners, regional premieres, re-imaginings, an original concert production, and the freshly minted RUBY ROOM Series.
The company has delayed the start of the season until March to allow as much time as possible for audiences comfort level in regards to in-person live theater. The first 3 productions in 2021 will take place in the spacious Quixotic Theater at 40% capacity and distance patrons appropriately.
A SPECTACULAR CHRISTMAS SHOW plays 16 performances, December 5-22 at The MTH Theater at Crown Center. Ticket prices start at only $35, with a 10% discount available for groups of 6 or more and a 20% discount available for groups of 12 or more.
The MTH Theater at Crown Center has announced casting and additional details for its upcoming production of A SPECTACULAR CHRISTMAS SHOW. The original Revue is directed and choreographed by Ashley Pankow, making her professional directorial debut. The entirely Kansas City based company features Keshana Cook, Shelby Floyd, Nora Hennessy, Timothy Michael Houston, Mason Kelso, Noah Lindquist, Mandy Morris, and Robert Vardiman. Musical direction for the production will be provided by Mark Ferrell, who will also play piano. Mr. Ferrell is joined by Noah McNair on bass, Tod Barnard on drums, and Cindy Egger on guitar. The production team also includes lighting design by Art Kent, sound design by John Story, costume design by Shannon Smith, scenic coordiation by Mark A. Exline, and stage management by Tenley Pitonzo.

Musical Theatre Heritage's annual Christmas Spectacular opened the weekend of December 7th for a run through December 23rd at the MTH Theater on the third floor of Crown Center in downtown Kansas City. An eight-person cast along with a four-piece orchestra combines traditional popular Holiday music with some less familiar selections chosen to display the unusual skillsets of this cast.

The entirely Kansas City based company features David Adams, Samantha Agron, Danielle Barger, Lexi Brie, Jerome Johnson, Sicily Mathenia, Jon Rizzo, and Bob Wearing. The four-piece band will feature Ferrell on piano, Jacob Roemer on bass, Tod Barnard on drums, and Nate Nall on Trumpet.
