Ervin Lázár's play was already seen in many versions by the writer's fans. It was a TV game, a book or a theater, and even a generation was raised by Dömdödöm's loving verse, or Bruckner Szigfrid's brazen lion. The charming story can be played anywhere, as the title indicates an elusive, or we can formulate it in an undetermined location. A rookie, Aromo, the unrestrained rabbit, or Vacskamati, the unhappy cat, Mikkamakka is the "band leader" or Big Zoard the walking pine tree, or perhaps Horse Seraphine, the blue-eyed miracle, all the good-natured creatures who spend their time together, in the noblest sense. This story tells us nothing but love, friendship, helpfulness, that is, all commonplace things that we do not find in everyday life. It is full of humorous, charming scenes and music that distracts us into the non-existent realm of the Rectangular Round Forest. What we hope is not only on the stage!
