Standing at 6’ 3”, “Gotdamn Jack Jones’” presence is hard to ignore when he enters a room. However, it's not his height that commands attention, but his vocal range and the rasp in his tone that delivers a musical experience that is powerful and captivating. Jones draws inspiration for his music from his upbringing on the southside of Houston, where his parents and siblings exposed him to everything from Country Western, Blues, Soul, R&B, Pop and more. His family created such a musically diverse environment for Jones, the youngest of the family, to explore his creativity and develop his own unique sound and approach to making music.

Jones released his debut EP, “Left Handed In My Right Mind,” in 2020, giving listeners a sneak peek into his refreshingly authentic artistry in which he blends soul, rock, funk and blues. “Left Handed In My Right Mind” was produced by Chris and Conrad Rosser with Bread and Water Beats. “Left Handed In My Right Mind” (LHRM) was always considered my "Therapy EP,” said Jones. “After years of shelving my own music, LHRM was finally released in 2020 as my bridge to "breaking even" with life. I purposely infused different genres on this project, all of which helped mold the artist I am today. I'm very personal and transparent with this project as I cover topics of fear, anxiety, accountability, vulnerability and lineage.”

Last year, Jones released his single and music video, “Water on Mars,” and earlier this year released “Pretty Lies,” two slow-burning, soul-infused tracks, highlighting Jones’ diverse sound and solidifying his distinctive style. Jones is currently working on his forthcoming debut album, “Shepherd” (album release date TBA), which is sure to push the genre-bending artist’s musical boundaries even further.
