Malama Solomon and Councilwoman Valerie Poindexter, last year’s Kahilu Theatre production of Eve Ensler’s critically acclaimed The Vagina Monologues sold out days before opening night. “Best production of Vagina Monologues ever,” raved a CEO in attendance, “and I’ve seen New York and LA productions for years!” This riveting, socially illuminating production is as flat out hilarious as it is spectacularly emotional. A piece of theatrical history not to be missed for the 12+ crowd.
