THE ELEVENTH MOMENT Comes to Finnish National Theatre Through 5/11 THE ELEVENTH MOMENT is playing at Finnish National Theatre through May 11, 2019.

The eleventh moment is a story of democracy, a way of living, which is disappearing from our fingertips when we started to take it for granted. It is a presentation of this time, but also of the future - a story about us and how it goes to us.

According to international studies, democracy is also declining where it has traditionally been the strongest - in the United States and Europe. What is the need for democracy if all decisions are made in the market? What remains of democracy when there is a rising right wing on the other and politics dictated by global financial markets on the other? How do we end up in a world where we cannot afford to take care of the weakest or protect our environment from destruction?

The eleventh moment is the continuation of the 2014 best performance for the award-winning play Fourth Road . At the same time it is the second part of the democracy trilogy written for Esa Leskinen and Sami Keski-Vähälä National Theater.

The performance combines document theater, music and visual expression in a unique way. It is at the same time a farce and tragedy, an unprecedented musical night and a symphony of spectacular visions.

The eleventh moment gives the voice to those who do not want to listen, and raises the spotlight to what you do not want to see. It's all you always wanted to know about money and power, but you haven't dared to ask.
