Equity actors and actor/singers for various roles in the upcoming 2015-16 season shows.

Preparation
Prepare two contrasting contemporary American monologues and 16 bars of an appropriate Sondheim song. Please do not sing from Passion. Bring two copies of your headshot and resume and your Equity card.

Accompanist provided on Monday 6/22 only.

Female 20s. Very fit exotic dancer. A recent Russian immigrant of Moldovan background. She speaks in a Russian accent. No nudity.

Jeffrey Ziegler/Lawyer:
40s- 50s. Double Role. Attractive, fit, foster parent. Jewish.

Emma Ziegler/Magistrate Zabel:
40s- 50's. Double Role. Foster parent. Jewish.

Erica Peebles:
35- 45. African-American. Fit, attractive earnest and determined Child Protective Service attorney.

Zack:
Early 30s. Charismatic, good-looking college teacher.

Raisa:
11 year old girl. Masha's biological daughter. Extremely cute and communicative. Must have stage experience.

40s. Highly intelligent, charismatic and sexy underachiever.

ALICE:
CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary.
70s. Wise to the core and lovers her martinis.

AVERY:
Early 20's. Highly intelligent, curious, intense spark of energy and a product of her generation.

Seeking singing actors

Colonel Ricci:
Male, 40s–50s. The regiment’s commanding officer. A rather taut gentleman who carries the weight of his position with authority and ease. Baritone/tenor, up to a top G.

Doctor Tambourri / The Father:
Male, 50s–60s. Doctor: The regiment’s attending physician. Somewhat aloof and distinguished older officer. Father: Fosca’s father, in flashback. Baritone, up to a top F.

Cook (Lombardi)
Army Sergeant. He has no talent for cooking but remains determined. He is impish and can be found gossiping.
30-45 yrs old Range: B2 - F#4

Torasso:
Army Lieutenant. Given to laughter and perhaps a bit overweight, he has a lovely singing voice and is quite aware of the business of others.
Male, 40-50 yrs old Range: B2 - G4

Barri/The Mother:
Army Lieutenant. Quick witted and in possession of a razor sharp tongue, he is an avid gambler. Doubles as Fosca’s Mother in a flashback.
Male, 40-50 yrs old Range: A2 - E4

Augenti/The Mistress:
Army Private and mail carrier. The youngest among the group, he has a genuine and sweet disposition. Plays the mistress to Count Ludovic in flashbacks.
Male, 18-21 yrs old Range: Tenor. B2 - G4+.

Major Rizzoli/Ludovic:
The sober and straight-arrow Rizzoli. Plays Ludovic, Fosca's duplicitous husband seen in flashback. Tenor/Baritone

The following roles have been CAST. However, actors may be considered for possible replacements if needed:

Fosca:
CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary. Woman, 40s. A chronically ill woman. Intense, complex, deeply intelligent – often obsessed/fitful. Strong mezzo soprano.

Giorgio:
CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary. 30s Soldier. In a love affair with a beautiful married woman and torn emotionally from the unexpected affections of another. Strong baritone/tenor.

Clara:
CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary. Woman, 30s. Giorgio's lover. Married to a man with whom she shares a son and in an affair with Giorgio. Beautiful and shallow. Nudity required. Strong Soprano
