Zeesie: an extremely bright and creative girl. 9 -11 years old, High belt, G3 to C5.
Zaydeh: Zeesie’s harsh, difficult grandfather. 50s or older. Character baritone, G2 to D4.
Bubbeh: Zeesie’s wise and sweet grandmother. 50s or older. Character alto, G3 to B4.
Mama/Aunt Trina: Zeesie’s very pregnant mother, doubles as Aunt Trina, 30s. Mezzo soprano, Bb3 to B4.
Papa: Zeesie’s father. 30s. Baritone, C3 to D4.
Zalman: Zaydeh’s friend, 40’s or older.
