Equity actors and singers for various roles in the upcoming season. See breakdown.

The season PSM position has been filled, however, still seeking an ASM for Murder for Two, Lenin's Embalmers, Rhinoceros, and Orson's Shadow, along with an SM for Orson's Shadow. See separate notice on Casting Call for submission details.

Please bring headshot and current resume
If auditioning for Murder for Two prepare an uptempo musical theater song to both perform and self-accompany. An accompanist will not be provided.

Jack Lawson: Shrewd and savvy. Methodical and diplomatic in his interactions with Charles. Considers himself as a mentor (of sorts) to Susan

Charles Strickland: Wealthy White Male, 40's. Client. Accused of rape.

Henry Brown: Black, 40's, Shrewd. Blunt to borderline rude. Strategist. Tells it like he sees it. Considers himself a mentor (of sorts) to Susan.

Susan: Black, 20's, Young attorney, morally driven. Strong convictions regarding race and this case in particular.

Marcus: Mid 20’s-30’s – A great narrator/host, comfortable breaking the fourth wall. A skilled comedian adept at physical comedy as well. Creative, musical, collaborative and an accomplished pianist. Must be ready to be part of a team.

The Suspects: Mid 20’s-30’s – A brilliant character actor who can skillfully slip in and out of multiple male and female characters. A comedian with great physical comedy skills. Creative, musical, collaborative and an accomplished pianist. Must be ready to be part of a team.

LENIN’S EMBALMERS

LENIN: 50s-60s - Revolutionary, politician, theorist. Dead. Tells a mean joke.

BORIS: 30s-50s - A scientist. Wants more from life and is willing to take risks to get it. Wishes you wouldn't mention that he used to support Trotsky.

VLAD: 30s-50s - A scientist. Wants more from life and is angry that someone else has it. Wishes you wouldn't mention that he used to support the Tsar.

NADIA: 30s-50s - Plays three different women all named Nadia - wives, girlfriends, scientists. Have limited power to keep the men from destroying themselves and each other but are doing what they can.

STALIN: 40s-60s - A dictator. Fantastic mustache. Very little sense of humor. Are you threatening him?

KRASIN: 30s-60s - A deal-maker, a glad-hander, a politician. Very much hopes he can serve Stalin and not die, or worse.

AGENT 1 and AGENT 2: 20s-50s - Secret police, soviet, spies. They like a nip of vodka to keep out the cold Siberian nights. Also play Trotsky, others.

RHINOCEROS

Berenger: 30s – 50s, a slacker, uncouth and apathetic with a rumpled appearance, moved to action in by his neighbors’ complacency

Jean: 30s – 50s, highly cultured and fastidious, arrogant, but not immune to hypocrisy

Daisy: 20s – 30s, Warm hearted but naïve, Berenger’s love interest

Ensemble: remaining roles of Botard, Dudard, The Logician, Papillon, M. and Mme. Boeuf, Café Proprietor, and Townspeople to be cast from an ensemble of 5, multiple ages and ethnicities.

Larry: Sir Lawrence Olivier, 50s, dashing star of stage and screen, a touch arrogant

Joan: actress Joan Plowright, early 30s, Olivier’s latest flame

Vivien: actress Vivien Leigh, late 40s, soon to be the former Mrs. Olivier
