Seeking
Narrator/Soldier:
May be male or female, any ethnicity. Must have a great sense of rhythym & be comfortable with movement theatre.

Preparation
A short selection from the text will be provided with audition time slot. Be prepared for the possibility of movement exercises with ballerina Muriel Maffre, and additional sides.

Other Dates
First Rehearsal: October 18
Opening: November 17
Closing: December 18 (plus possible extension 1-2 weeks)

Other
Must be able to play several characters. A familiarity with the story essential.

Breakdown

The actor must be able to play each of these characters discretely:
Devil - Shape-shifting, cunning, tricky.
Narrator - Timeless, wise, with a moral point of view
Soldier - Young (early twenties), brash, becomes a wealthy man but loses his soul.
