Equity actors for various roles. See breakdown.
An AEA stage manager will be employed. One acting position will be chosen to double as the ASM assisting the stage manager with small props, costume and set piece load-ins as required and connecting with location teachers as needed.
PREPARATION
Please prepare two contrasting one-minute monologues. Bring picture and resume.

BREAKDOWN
Casting Breakdowns for The Caucasian Chalk Circle
All tracks will play multiple characters. Seeking actors with strong dance or movement theater backgrounds. Actors who play instruments are strongly encouraged.
This production will tour Miami-Dade County public schools Mon-Fri weekly up to 9 performances per week. Run time of the show is no more than 60 minutes.
Female Track 1 - Any Ethnicity, Female Identifying (30’s - 40’s) - Used to being the boss, domineering and menacing.
Female Track 2 - Any Ethnicity, Female Identifying (20’s - Early 30’s) - Ingenue, youthful energy, sharp wit beneath the kind exterior. *Singers strongly encouraged.
Male Track 1 - Any Ethnicity, Male Identifying (20’s - mid 30’s) - Youthful, leading man, decisive and charismatic, with a dark side.
Male Track 2 - Any Ethnicity, Male Identifying (Late 20’s - Late 30’s) Strong physical comedy background - acrobatics, commedia, clown etc. are all encouraged.
Impressionable, faint of heart, but in spite of fears, follows every order.
Male Track 3 - Any Ethnicity, Male Identifying (Mid 30’s - 40’s) - A commanding presence, a tyrant at times and a mischievous sadist at others.
Male or Female - Any Ethnicity (20’s - 40’s) *Must play multiple instruments* Any of the following - Drums/Percussion, Guitar/Bass, Mandolin, Violin, Harmonica, Woodwinds, Brass, Accordion.
