High style, comic theatre monologue (no TV or film monologues PLEASE). British accent encouraged. Think Noel Coward, Shaw or Feydeau. Please bring picture and resume already stapled.

Breakdown

Matt Walker has been cast as Clown One.

All roles require great physical flexibility and a variety of accents.

RICHARD HANNAY (male, 40s), Open to all ethnicities. Daring, handsome, charming to the ladies, a little naïve and bored in his life, then finds himself the center of an intrigue, so must be intrepid, on the run, forced to live on his wits and adapt to any situation instantly, able to banter wittily in tight places. British accent.

ANNABELLA SCHMIDT / MARGARET / PAMELA: (female 20s/30s) Open to all ethnicities.. This woman plays three beautiful intrepid women of various types: a paranoid German spy, a lower-class Scottish farmer’s wife, and an upper class British beauty; this role asks for great verbal dexterity, physical flexibility, comic chops, a fluid, flexible team player. German, Scottish and British accents.

CLOWN TWO: (male, 20s – 50s) Open to all ethnicities. One actor plays multiple characters of all ages and genders, sometimes simultaneously! Must have great verbal and physical dexterity, huge comic chops, and be a fluid flexible team player. Scottish, German and various British accents.
