FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS

Female, 50s-70s, any ethnicity.

Seeking a strong actor and singer to play the role of FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS, a high-society woman in the early 20th century who believes herself to be an accomplished opera singer but in fact has minimal vocal ability. Is always sincere and authentic—never a caricature. Funny, and must be able to sing well enough to sing badly. Seeking all ethnicities for this role.
