CONTRACT

LOA Special Agreement based on TYA. $494.40/week minimum.

SEEKING

Diverse and versatile adult AEA and non-AEA actors for the 2019 Education Tour. Actors of all ages, gender, ethnicity, and backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Experience teaching and/or performing for young people is desirable. The job requires heavy lifting and some overnight stays.

PREPARATION

Prepare one brief Shakespeare monologue (excluding MACBETH) and one brief contemporary monologue. Bring two copies of your headshot and resume. Indicate teaching experience and instruments you play on your resume. Callbacks will include teaching activities.

Tour: February 4 to April 14, 2019. Includes several out of town, overnight dates.

MACBETH, by William Shakespeare; adapted and directed by Joanna Battles, and THE LAST CUPCAKE, written by Nancy Bell. Actors will act as ASMs and Teaching Artists, teaching three different hour-long student workshops. Performances take place primarily in the St. Louis area during school hours; however, at least 20 days of overnight, out-of-town travel and some evening and weekend performances will be required. 14-week contract; local hires strongly encouraged to attend

EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.
