Preparation
Please bring a picture and resume. Please prepare a 1 to 2 minute monologue from any of Shakespeare’s plays. In addition, there will be cold readings from the sides at auditions.

1st rehearsal: February 10, 2014. Runs March 14, 2014 – April 20, 2014 (Thursday - Saturday evenings, Saturday and Sunday matinees, select weekday matinees)

Benvolio, nephew of Montague (age 15-20)
Tybalt, nephew to Capulet (age 15-20)

Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare’s timeless classic, will be cast with age appropriate actors in keeping with the mission of Compass Rose Theater. Compass Rose Theater is a professional teaching theater whose process is the creation of outstanding theater with a focus on discovery and learning. All parts will be cast as close to the actual ages of the characters in the story as possible. Actors must have a familiarity with classic language and an ability to move with grace and ease to suit the demands of the script.
