Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Baltimore Shakespeare Festival

11 AM – 8 PM 3900 Roland Avenue

Lunch from 2 - 3. Baltimore, MD 21211

Call for appointment: 410-366-8594. AEA members without appointments will be seen as time permits.

Prepare 2 contrasting monologues, and be ready to read from provided sides. Production will be set in modern day, using Shakespeare’s text.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Callbacks September 8th 6 – 10pm

Available Roles:

Richard III:

30 – 50 – deformed, yet extremely charismatic, a manipulator. Very confident.

George, Duke of Clarence/Tyrell:

30 – 45 – pious, strong, loyal, but a bit innocent.

Lady Anne:

20 – 35 – Recently widowed, in mourning, but apparently open to suggestion

Elizabeth:

Queen, wife of Edward IV, strong.

Buckingham:

30 – 50 – politically astute, a survivor (for a while)

Brakenbury/Catesby/Lord Mayor:

Multiple roles, 25 – 45

Hastings/Ratcliffe:

30 – 50, Hastings a loyal retainer, Ratcliffe, a mercenary murderer

Edward IV/Richmond:

40 – 60, newly king, but not doing too well physically; Richmond, vibrant the opposite of Edward.

Lord Rivers/Bishop Ely/Sheriff:

multiple roles, 25 – 45
