CLARA, late 60s, an American of Polish decent living in a working class neighborhood of Buffalo, tough and loving.
BEVERLY, late 30’s, female. The eldest child of Clara. A little tough around the edges. A beer-drinking, avid bowler seeking out the perfect man; objects to the idea of her brother dating someone of another religion.
RUTH, Mid 30's, female. The sensitive middle child of Clara; fun, a curious and ambitious theatre maker, wants to spread the word about the family story and seeks the truth.
JIMMY, Late 20's, early 30's male. The youngest child of Clara. Big-hearted, kind sanitation worker. Loves his family and enjoys teasing his sisters. Going to propose to his girlfriend.
