Two AEA Actors:

Actor 1: Male, 40-60.
Actor 2: Male, 35-45.

Preparation
METAMORPHOSES contains dialogue scenes as well as a great deal of narration. The ability to tell story is essential. Please prepare a mid-twentieth century or classical monologue, not longer than two minutes. You may also be asked to read from the play.

First rehearsal Sep 2, 2013. Press opening October 10, 2013. Closes October 27, 2013. Performances Wednesday-Sunday.

Personnel
Co-production between University of Miami and Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Directed by Henry Fonte, Chair, UM Department of Theatre Arts.

· A monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Seeking:

Actor 1
Male, 40-60, to play a variety of roles which may include Poseidon, Zeus, Midas and others as cast. A commanding presence with a very well-developed vocal instrument.

Actor 2
Male, 35 to 45, to play a variety of roles which may include Bachas and Apollo and others as cast. Leading man type with a well-developed vocal instrument.

NOTE: Guest Artists to perform with acting students from University of Miami's Department of Theatre Arts. Rehearsals to be held weekday evenings (7-11pm) and Saturdays during the day.
