MRS. WYLIE: Female identifying, 50s. General Manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company. A force of nature; extravagant, outspoken, businesswoman in the 1930’s. Well-dressed with great hair.
JO: Female identifying, late 20s. Mrs. Wylie’s assistant. Engaged to Jerry. A bit scruffy with hair askew. Wears glasses and sings opera.
JERRY: Male identifying, mid 30s. Mrs. Wylie’s son. Engaged to Jo. A lawyer who adores opera.
ELENA FIRENZI: Female identifying, mid 30s-50. World famous opera soprano. Italian. Gorgeous, magnificent, dressed elaborately. Also a force of nature.
PASQUALE FIRENZI: Male identifying, mid 30s–50. Elena’s husband. Impressive. Also dressed elaborately. Jealous.
