SEASONAL DATES: Sep.27-Oct.23, 2011 "Shirley Valentine" by Willy Russell; Nov.25-Dec.24, 2011 "This Wonderful Life" by Steve Murray; Jan.10-Feb.5, 2012 "Lonesome Traveler" by James O'Neil; Mar.13-Apr.8, 2012 "Sister's Easter Catechism: Will my bunny go to Heaven?" by Maripat Donovan; Apr.24-May 20, 2012 "Tickled Pink" by Rita Rudner and Martin Bergman .

Our season starts with the show "Shirley Valentine" directed by Andrew Barnicle, our previous Artistic Director, who has chosen an actor we have made an offer to do the one-woman show; our second show is "This Wonderful Life" which is a one-man show already cast; our third show is the Rubicon Theatre Production of A World Premiere Concert "Lonesome Traveler: A Journey Down the Rivers and Streams of American Folk" which will come with it's cast; our fourth show is "Sister's Easter Catechism Will my bunny go to Heaven?" another one-woman show written and performed by Maripat Donovan; our final show will be the World Premiere of "Tickled Pink" written by Rita Rudner & Martin Bergman with the following breakdown of the ensemble cast of thirteen, five women and eight men...

MINDY SOLOMON: female, 20's Funny, cute, smart, young Jewish brunette from Miami. Enthusiastic and innocent, she becomes world-wearier as the play progresses, but always retaining her youthful, wide-eyed charm.

URSULA DURAN: female, 20's
A blonde model from Minnesota. Clumsy but beautiful and dominated by her mother and male versions of her mother.

(The following actors will be expected to play MULTIPLE ROLES)

FEMALE #1: 20's/30's
RECEPTIONIST: Unhelpful older lady who hates her job.
PENELOPE: Cynical, gay, fashion-challenged, funny.
BUNNY: Toothy, harassed wardrobe mistress used to complaining, anxious performers.
DIANA: TOMMY's ex

FEMALE # 2: 40's/50's
EVA DURAN: Once stunning, she still retains a certain Nordic allure. Speaks English
with a pronounced Scandinavian accent.
BELINDA: Aging diva, ala Cita Rivera meets Cher.
TOMMY'S MOTHER: Injured, defensive mother.

FEMALE #3: 20's/30's
DANCER: A top, #1 dancer.
LIZZIE: A Madonna wannabe.
AMBER: intellectually challenged but sexy.
MELANIE: An actress.
LORETTA: Housewife turned comic.

MALE #1: 30's
ARMANDO: Argentinian dance instructor with suitable accent.
MITCH: Charming, witty writer. If Woody Allen had a son...

MALE #2: 50's
BRANDON HOLMES: A charming Lothario who enjoys young female flesh.
LEONARD FELK: Hollywood honcho who's seen too much to be anything other than
direct when sating his expansive appetites.
PERRY STRAUSS: Self-important executive who has failed upwards.


MALE #3: 20's
HANCOCK: Gay Broadway dancer.
TOMMY: A hot comedian with low self-esteem.


MALE #4: 40's
ED: Piano player who's seen too many late nights and not enough career breaks.
MARK MOSLEY: One of the tails that thinks it's wagging the dog of show business.
Smooth, urbane sociopath.


MALE #5: 30's
LUKE: Runs the comedy club like a Nazi.
LOU THE AGENT: Hollywood agent who deals only in expedience.
DOCTOR #2: Doctor.


MALE #6: 40's
CHRISTOPHER: A gay Broadway dancer.
RONNIE: Wise, older comedian with a professorial air.
IRV: Borscht Belt agent whose hero is George Burns.


MALE #7 50's
HAL: MINDY's curmudgeonly father whose upbringing in the New York mountains
means he lacks certain social skills.
BIKER: A biker.
STRANGER: An autograph collecting fan.

MALE #8 30's
DAN: A comedian who looks like he should work in a bank.
NORM: Blue-collar Floridian.
DOCTOR #3: Doctor.
ALVIN: A cocky comedian. ( Tall and bald?)
