PREPARATION

For JERSEY BOYS or LEAGALLY BLOND, please prepare one short song in the style of the show for which you wish to be considered. You may sing from either musical. An accompanist will be provided. For CLUE, please prepare a 1-minute comic monologue. All should bring a headshot and resume stapled together.

FRANKIE VALLI: Lead vocalist of The Four Seasons.

TOMMY DeVITO: Lead guitar player of The Four Seasons. Eventually leaves the group when he becomes indebted to a loan shark.

BOB GAUDIO: Songwriter and Keyboard player of The Four Seasons. The youngest and last member to join the group.

NICK MASSI: Bass player of The Four Seasons. He has a good ear for vocals and helps train Frankie as a singer.

BOB CREWE: Record Producer that signs on the group before they rename themselves as The Four Seasons. Helps them to record and release their music. Doubles as Donnie, Accountant, Finney, Judge, among other roles.

GYP DeCARLO: A mob boss that has ties to The Four Seasons via Tommy DeVito. He helps the group when Tommy racks up a significant amount of debt, mediating their negotiations with the loan shark as a third party. Doubles as Nick DeVito, Billy Dixon, Charlie Callelo, Bowling Alley Owner, Priest, among other roles.

WADSWORTH - A traditional British butler in every sense: uptight, formal and “by the book.” He is the driving force in the play. (30s-50s)

YVETTE – A loyal and sexy, French Maid. (20s)

MISS SCARLET – A dry, sardonic D.C. Madam, more interested in secrets than sex. (30s-40s)

MRS. PEACOCK – The wealthy wife of a Senator. A bit batty, neurotic, and quick to hysteria. (40s 60s)

MRS. WHITE – A pale, morbid, and tragic woman. Mrs. White may or may not be the murderer of her five ex-husbands. (40s-50s)

COLONEL MUSTARD – A puffy, pompous, dense, blow-hard of a military man. (40s-60s) PROFESSOR PLUM - Arrogant, academic, and easily impressed by himself. (30s-50s) MR. GREEN - A timid, yet officious, rule follower. He’s awfully anxious. (20s-40s)

WOMAN #1 - (20s-40s), THE COOK - A gruff woman with a threatening presence. (Alive and Dead). SINGING TELEGRAM GIRL - A tap dancer with a heart of gold. (Alive and Dead). *AUXILIARY SCARLET - The back of Miss Scarlet during a scene of theatrical trickery.

MAN #1 - (30s-50s), MR. BODDY – A slick, Frank Sinatra, film noir-esque type fella. (Alive and Dead). THE MOTORIST - A benign gentleman who rings the wrong doorbell. (Alive and Dead). CHIEF OF POLICE - A cop who helps to save the day.

MAN #2 – (30s-50s), THE “BROKEN DOWN COP” – A “Regular Joe.” (Alive and Dead). BACKUP COP – Backup for the chief. *AUXILIARY MUSTARD – The back of Colonel Mustard during a scene of theatrical trickery.

ELLE WOODS: Mezzo-Soprano. The president of the UCLA Delta Nu sorority who finds herself at Harvard University studying to become a lawyer.

EMMETT FORREST: Bari-Tenor. A hardworking teacher's assistant at Harvard who falls for Elle. WARNER HUNTINGTON III: Tenor. Elle's suave and opportunist ex-boyfriend.

PAULETTE: Mezzo-Soprano. A spunky hair stylist who becomes Elle's friend.

VIVIENNE KENSINGTON: Mezzo-Soprano. A no-nonsense law student and Warner's new girlfriend. PROFESSOR CALLAHAN: Baritone. A cruel and intense law professor.

BROOKE WYNDHAM: Mezzo-Soprano. An exercise queen on trial for the murder of her husband.

MARGOT: Soprano. One of Elle's sorority sisters who later serves as part of a Greek Chorus in Elle's mind. She is dimwitted and bubbly.

SERENA: Soprano. One of Elle's sorority sisters who later serves as part of a Greek Chorus in Elle's mind. Captain of UCLA's cheer team.

PILAR: Soprano. One of Elle's sorority sisters who later serves as part of a Greek Chorus in Elle's mind.

ENID: Mezzo-Soprano. A Harvard Law student and avid feminist.
