BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical
mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the
extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and
dressing rooms.

TRACK One: Junie B. Jones Quirky and energetic, loves having adventures that many times get her
into trouble.

TRACK Two: Grace/Pink Fluffy Girl: One of Junie B.’s best friends, proud of her ability to run faster
than anyone in class.

TRACK Three: Lucille/Grouchy Typing Lady/Choir: Junie B.’s other best friend, the ultimate child diva.

TRACK Four: Mrs/Mother/Parrot: Junie B.’s teacher, needs a lot of patience with Junie B.

TRACK Five: Jim/Mitten Crook/Grandpa Frank Miller/Choir: A friend of Junie B.’s. Grandpa is one
Junie's many adult father figures.

TRACK Six: Handsome Warren/Live Fireman/Choir: New kid that all the girls want to be friends with.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: ONE ACT EDITION

SEEKING:

Troy Bolton: The most popular kid at East High, he is the star of the basketball team who yearns to
be more than what people want him to be. Vocal range: B3-Bb4

Zeke Baylor: A basketball player on the Wildcats. He has two secrets: a crush on Sharpay and a love
for baking. Vocal range: B3-G5

Chad Danforth: Troy's best friend, star basketball player, and second in command, but is slowly
understanding that there might be more. Vocal range: A3-Bb4

Sharpay Evans: The diva of the school musicals and Ryan's older twin. She thinks being a star
defines her, no matter the cost. Vocal range: A3-F5

Ryan Evans: Sharpay's fraternal twin and a self-delusional “star”. He feels the brunt of Sharpay's
attacks and lives under her shadow. Vocal range: B3-Bb4

Gabriella Montez: The new girl in school. She is trying to blend in and avoid labels. Eventually
becomes Troy's romantic counterpart. Vocal range: F3-E5

Taylor Mckessie: The head Brainiac and President of the Science Club. She convinces Gabriella to
join the Science Decathlon team. Vocal range: G3-C5

Kelsi Nielsen: The drama club's rehearsal pianist and composer extraordinaire. Underneath her shy
demeanor, Kelsi is an outspoken firecracker. Vocal range: A3-D5

Jack Scott: The resident P.A. Announcer for the high school. He is shy and insecure, but smooth and
confident at the mic. Vocal range: B3-G5

Ms. Darbus: The kooky, eccentric Drama Club teacher. She has her self-absored moments but is still
devoted to her students and constantly encourages them. Age: 35 to 55

Coach Bolton: The stern basketball coach and Troy's dad. He lost the big game years ago and wants
his son to succeed. A good guy and proud father. Age: 40 to 45
