Please No password protected videos etc. Include Headshot and Resume (In one file not separate files). These videos will be used as a pre screen before inviting select people to an in person audition. No invites to in person auditions will happen until all videos have been screened.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:

In your recording, slate your name, union status. Make sure we see as much of you as possible. Accompaniment should be played on a separate device and be sure there is no editing, effects etc. to your vocal recording.

Please prepare no more than a one-minute cut of a song from the show or in the style of the show. Singing from the show is HIGHLY preferred. You may also use the accompaniment at

SEEKING:

FRANKIE VALLI (Lead): Male, 20-35. 5’9” or shorter; a strong tenor with sweet and strong falsetto who is able to sing in the style of Frankie Valli. Strong tenor to high A or Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G; charismatic and charming; comfortable with narrative text and has a gritty side as well as a polished veneer; very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies. Lead vocalist of The Four Seasons.

BOB GAUDIO (Lead): Male, 20-35, preferably tall; strong tenor/baritenor voice with a strong high G. Very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; comfortable with narrative text; an intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy. Ability to play piano a plus, but not necessary. The youngest and last member to join the group.

TOMMY DEVITO (Lead): Male, 30-40, strong tenor/baritenor voice; very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; comfortable with narrative text; the ability to play guitar a very strong plus; a natural-born leader with an appealing, bad-boy quality. Eventually leaves the group when he racks up a debt with a loan shark. Ability to play guitar a very strong plus.

NICK MASSI (Lead); Male, 30-40, strong bass/baritone voice, low E would be an asset.; very comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; comfortable with narrative text; a quiet dreamer who longs for life after The Four Seasons. Has a good ear for vocals and helps train Frankie with his singing. Ability to play bass a plus.

Bob Crewe (and others): Male, 30-45. Intelligent and flamboyant; the genius music producer and lyricist who was an integral part of creating the magic of The Four Seasons. Quick-witted and very into astrology: Preferably tall. Strong tenor/baritenor voice. Good dancer. Note: This performer will most likely cover the role Bob Gaudio

Gyp DeCarlo (and others): Male, 45-60. Tough, mafioso type; a strong singer. Comfortable and convincing speaking phrases in Italian.

Joe Pesci / Studio Engineer (and others): Male, 20-30: Young, energetic and a little over-excited; a strong singer and mover. Note: This performer will most likely cover the role of Frankie Valli

Barry Belson / French Rap Star (and others): Male, 20-40: A strong singer. Various roles including Hal Miller. Tenor to high C, ideally with a strong falsetto to G above high C; has the ability to riff in rhythm-and-blues style.

Hank Majewski (and others) Male, 20-45. Strong singer. Various roles (friends, producers, etc.), bari-tenor voice down to a strong low G (low E a big plus); guitar and/or drums a plus.

Mary Delgado (and others): Female, 20-35. Strong singer and dancer; Frankie’s wife; tough, seen it all”, Italian, Jersey girl; she’s got a killer sense of humor; a variety of other roles; strong belt useful; high straight tone soprano also useful but not required.

Lorraine and Francie (and others): Female, 20-40. Versatile singer, and dancer with flexible vocal registers. Variety of roles (the many girlfriends of The Four Seasons, etc); should fit well together a la 60s band Shangri-las and be believable as tough-as-nails Jersey girls; comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; strong belt to F.
