Bring sheet music in the proper key and prepare to sing a brief cut of a 1950's - 1960's pop, rock n' roll song. Accompanist will be available. Please bring headshot and resume.

JERSEY BOYS

SEEKING:

FRANKIE VALLI: MALE, 20-35; must be 5’9 or shorter; a strong tenor with sweet and strong falsetto and be able to sing in the style of Frankie Valli; strong tenor to high A or Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G; charismatic and charming; comfortable with narrative text and have a gritty side as well as a polished veneer; comfortable with four-part harmonies.

TOMMY DEVITO: MALE, 30-40; strong tenor/baritone voice, comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; comfortable with narrative text; ability to play guitar a strong plus; a natural-born leader with appealing bad-boy quality.

NICK MASSI: MALE, 30-40; strong bass/baritone voice, comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; comfortable with narrative text; a quiet dreamer who longs for life after The Four Seasons.

BOB GAUDIO: MALE, 20-35; preferably tall; strong tenor/baritone voice; comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; comfortable with narrative text; an intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy.

NICK DEVITO & OTHERS: MALE, 20-35; Doubles as various roles; 30s; strong tenor/bari-tenor voice; comfortable with traditional four-part harmonies; comfortable with narrative text; ability to play guitar a very strong plus; bad-boy quality; good dancer.

JOE PESCI & OTHERS/ FRANKIE U/S: MALE, 20-35; 5’9 or shorter; young, energetic; a strong character, and strong singer.

BOB CREWE & OTHERS: MALE, 30-40; intelligent and flamboyant; genius music producer and lyricist; an integral part of creating the magic of The Four Seasons.

GYP DECARLO & OTHERS: MALE, 40-55; tough, Mafioso type; a strong character, and strong singer.

BARRY BELSON & OTHERS: MALE, 20-49; various roles (friends, producers, etc.); strong tenor to high C; with a strong falsetto to G above high C; with the ability to riff in rhythm-and-blues style.

NORM WAXMAN & OTHERS: MALE, 20-49; various roles (friends, producers, etc.), bari-tenor voice down to a strong low G (low E a big plus); guitar and/or drums a plus.

MARY & OTHERS: FEMALE, 25-40; Frankie’s wife; tough, “Seen it all”, Italian, Jersey girl; she’s got a killer sense of humor; doubles as a variety of other roles including member of a 60’s style girl group; strong belt; high straight tone soprano also useful; very good dancer.

LORRAINE & OTHERS: FEMALE, 20-35; Frankie’s mom; educated; not from Jersey; a reach career girl; young Diane Sawyer; doubles as a variety of other roles, including member of a 60’s style girl group and tough-as-nails Jersey girl; strong high belt, belt to high F extremely useful; high, straight tone soprano also useful; very good dancer.

FRANCINE & OTHERS: FEMALE, 20-35; Frankie’s daughter; named for, doted on and deeply loved by Frankie. She’s a Jersey girl—vulnerable, lost and acts out to make up for lack of attention from her dad. Doubles as a variety of other roles including a member of a 60’s style girl group and a tough-as nails Jersey girl. Strong, high belt useful. Belt to high F extremely useful, high straight tone soprano also useful but not required, very good dancer.
