Seeking:

Sandy Dumbrowski: 18-20. Character identifies as Female. Any ethnicity. Danny’s love interest. Sweet, wholesome, naïve, cute. However, she becomes sassy and sultry after her transformation. Soprano/Belter, A3-G5

Danny Zuko: 18-20. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. The leader of the “Burger Palace Boys”. Leading man. Good looks with an air of cool, easy-going charm. Strong and confident. Tenor, D3-B4, with a strong falsetto up to D5

Rizzo: 18-20. Character identifies as Female. Any ethnicity. Leader of the “Pink Ladies”. She is tough, sarcastic and outspoken, but also vulnerable at times. Alto/Belter, A3-G5

Kenickie: 18-20. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. Second-in-command of the “Burger Palace Boys”. Rough around the edges, surly, avoids any show of softness. Has an off-beat sense of humor. Bari-tenor, C3-G4

Frenchy: 18-20 Character identifies as Female. Any ethnicity. A dreamer. Good natured. Not the greatest student. Heavily made-up, fussy about her appearance – particularly her hair. She can’t wait to finish high school so she can be a beautician. Mezzo/Belter, A3-G5

Marty: 18-20. Character identifies as Female. Any ethnicity. The ‘beauty’ of the Pink Ladies. Puts on an act of sophistication but, in reality, she has the same issues and doubts as her other teen friends. Alto, A3-G5

Doody: 18-20. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. Youngest of the guys. Slight in build with a disarming smile and a hero-worshiping attitude toward the other guys. Guitar skills a plus. Tenor, D3-C5

Roger: 18-20. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. The ‘anything for a laugh’ type. Full of mischief, half-baked schemes and ideas. A clown who enjoys putting other people on. Tenor, D3-A4, with a strong falsetto.

Sonny: 18-20. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. A wannabe tough guy who thinks he’s a real charmer with the ladies. Baritone, G2-G4

Eugene: 18-20. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. The class valedictorian. Physically awkward. A “nerd”. Smug and pompous, but gullible. Bari-tenor or Tenor.

Johnny Casino: 18-20. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. A ‘greaser’ student at Rydell who energetically leads a rock’n’roll band and likes to think of himself as a real rock’n’roll idol (like Elvis). Bari-Tenor or Tenor, G3-E4

Patty: 18-20. Character identifies as Female. Any ethnicity. An All American cheerleader. Attractive and athletic. Confident and given to burst of disconcerting enthusiasm. Can twirl a baton. Alto.

Cha-Cha: 18-20. Character identifies as Female. Any ethnicity. She was really not the bombshell that Kenickie was hoping she'd be. Our Cha-Cha is definitely not like the movie Cha-Cha. She takes pride in being ‘the best dancer at St Bernadette’s’. Strong dancer. Alto, A3-C5

Vince Fontaine: 35-45. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. A typical ‘teen audience’ radio disc jockey. Slick, egotistical, fast-talking. A veteran ‘greaser’.

Teen Angel: 30-45. Character identifies as Male. Any ethnicity. A charming and handsome, falsetto voiced crooner. A singer who would have caused his audience to scream and riot back in 1958. Tenor, E3-G4, with strong falsetto up to E5
