Equity actors for various roles in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. (See breakdown.)

PREPARATION

Bring 2 copies of headshot and resume. Prepare 16 bars of two songs, one upbeat and one ballad. Bring sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided. No a cappella auditions. There will also be cold readings from the script/songbook. For student actors, no headshot required. Bring a recent photo.

BREAKDOWN

Winner of nine Tony awards, this beautiful musical play tells the story of the village of Anatevka, a Jewish settlement in Czarist Russia. Though poor in possessions, the family of Tevye, a milkman, is rich in daughters and happiness. The poignancy of the story and the beauty of the music have made this play a tradition for musical theater audiences everywhere.

All roles except Hodel and Motel are open.
