CLYDE (40s, female) fierce and sexy, all steel, and unmovable. The gravel in her voice betrays a life of cigarettes and whiskey, lived with gusto and no apology.
MONTRELLOUS (40s, male) zen-like, wise, talented, and cool as hell. He’s the John Coltrane of sandwich making. It’s all love for him, no drudgery involved in the process.
RAFAEL (20s, male) a recovering addict who wears his emotions on his sleeve.
LETITIA (20s, female) direct, self-possessed, and perhaps too quick to offer an opinion. JASON (late 20s, male) moody, white supremacist tattoos are on his face

NEDELJKO (19) Good looking, charming, emotional, tough. Not as smart or as thoughtful as Gavrilo, but also easily seduced.
TRIFKO (20) Bigger in stature, more experienced. He has a tough guy exterior that hides his emotional, romantic side.
SLADJANA (60s) Old world cook and maid to Apis. She would be the only character to use an accent. She is wise, religious, superstitious.

Georgiana Darcy - extraordinarily shy, an accomplished pianist, romantic but super hesitant after her experience with George Wickham. She is an introvert, but lives a full life in the letters she writes and the music she plays. Very like her brother in some ways, she can be stubborn and a bit of a grudge holder.
Kitty Bennet - a ray of sunshine, the perfect best friend and wing man, she is supportive, optimistic, and a problem solver. Without the influence of Lydia, she is more grounded and generous. She is the mastermind behind Georgianna’s future.
Elizabeth Darcy - loves all of her sisters, but loves Georgiana like a combo of sister and mother, and brings Georgiana out in a way that her brother, Fitzwilliam Darcy tends to shut her down.
Lydia Wickham - a little extra, but has gained some wisdom. Now that she is suddenly without a husband, (George Wickham,) she is looking for a companion again, only to find Kitty unavailable. She is trouble when she has too much unstructured time on her hands.
Jane Bingley - Eldest and most reserved sister of the Bennets. Married to Charles Bingley and very pregnant with her first child. Kind, generous, soft spoken.
Mary Bennet - Middle sister, brainy and extremely recently engaged to Arthur de Bourgh.
Henry Grey - Georgiana's beau - also remarkably shy and an introvert but of incredible sincerity and intellect. Henry is unassuming, possibly to a fault, and is unaware that he is the hero of the story.
Thomas O'Brien - Henry’s friend, a little bawdy and a little jolly, says exactly what's on his mind, does not have much time for polite society but is so good natured that everyone kind of loves him.
Fitzwilliam Darcy - proud but finding his warmth, does not forgive easily, perhaps slightly over protective of his little sister.
Sarah Darcy - Lizzy and Fitzwilliam Darcy's daughter (played by Lydia) She is serious like her father and exuberant like her mother, friendly and opinionated
Emily Grey - Henry Grey's daughter (played by Jane) Sweet, earnest, deeply devoted to her father and self possessed
Margaret O’Brien - Kitty and Thomas’s daughter (played by Mary) bubbly, busy, and incredibly empathetic just like her father, a thoughtful caretaker like her mother

GABE (20, Black) A college junior. A point guard on his school’s Division 1 basketball team. COACH (40s, Black woman) The Coach of the women’s basketball team and a former player.

LUCIA (late 20s) Mexican-born, acculturated. When in Mexico one would call her a “fresa,” but here, she’s just an Americanized Mexican who navigates the code-switching between Spanish and English as well as the rest of her (globalized) generation.
ABEL (Early 30s) born in the U.S., Mexican-American but quite Mexicanized. Born and raised in LA, proud of his Mexican heritage. Got a little bit of a chip on his shoulder.
First Rehearsal: 04.09.2024
Previews: 05.01-03.2024
Opening: 05.04.2024
Closing: 06.02.2024
JESSIE (mid 30s) Married to a North Shore native; recently relocated to Port (from Manhattan) to raise her family. Educated, articulate, lovely, warm. From the Midwest. She tends to bend towards anxiety. Works 90 hour weeks in the city as a corporate lawyer -- or did, until Allie was born. Now she's in yoga pants.
LINA (late 20s/ early 30s) From the South Shore of Long Island. She failed out of community college, curses too much, and blasts Kanye too loudly in the car. But she is also fantastically winning. She's fun, funny and refreshingly genuine and works at St. Francis Hospital.
MITCHELL (late 30s/early 40s or slightly older) Adrienne's husband, works in investment capital. A math nerd who is amazing with numbers, but not people. Serious, shrewd, sensitive. Becoming a father has changed him. He makes goofy faces now. He stares out windows during meetings. His sentences end in question marks.
ADRIENNE (mid/late 30s) Mitchell's wife. Elegant, powerful, aloof, and slightly rock n roll. She grew up on Central Park West, attended posh boarding schools, studied art abroad, and could give you the best-ever guided tour of MoMA. A successful jewelry designer.
