Richard – early 50’s. Pragmatic leaning toward pessimistic. Sarcasm is a second language. Spends a great deal of energy fighting inherited inclinations. Magnetic. He’s never had to work hard to attract admirers.
Oscar – early 80’s. Richard and Laura’s father. Physical ailments have destroyed his body. Aside from the occasional memory lapse, his mind is still sharp as a tack. Opinionated and aggressive. A New Yorker to his core. Masks fear with rage. Does not like being alone.
