Send the audition via a downloadable, unlisted link Wetransfer/Dropbox/Vimeo/Google Drive, etc that does not expire. Please also label the video file with YOUR NAME and ROLE. File size should not exceed 500MB.

BREAKDOWN
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Include in your video: slate of your name, your preferred gender pronouns, the name of the piece your monologue comes from, and a full-body shot and zoom in or cut to a close-up (bottom of the frame should be at the shoulders and leave a sliver of space above the head for the top frame).
Please make sure you are in a well-lit area (with a simple background if possible) where we can clearly hear the actor. The audition can be in a medium wide shot, not too close but not too far.
Please prepare a 90 second monologue.

ERNESTINE CRUMP (she/her, Black, 18+ to play 17 years old). Ernestine is intelligent, introspective, and a (grounded) dreamer. A cinephile.
ERMINA CRUMP (she/her, Black, 18+ to play 15 years old) Bold and defiant in a way that only a 15- year-old can be. In fight vs. flight scenarios, she fights.
GODFREY CRUMP (he/him, Black, mid-30s) Godfrey believes in the importance of respectability and outward appearances, seeks solutions outside of himself.
LILY ANN GREEN (she/her, Black, mid-30s) Extroverted, craves much more beyond what 1950 America can offer her race and gender.
GERTE SHULTE (she/her, 30s, white). Gerte is an honest and direct German woman with an uncompromising perspective on all things (as opposed to nuanced/ambiguous).
