CONTRACT LOA $440/week.


SEEKING Equity actors for various roles. See breakdown.


PREPARATION This show is not a musical. Please prepare a brief (preferably two minutes or less) monologue of any nature or a brief narrative from any part of the book “Charlotte’s Web” by E.B. White. Please bring a picture and a resume, stapled together.

PERSONNEL Directors: Jim Byrne, Emily Ranii ; Producing Artistic Director: Linda Chin ; Adapted by Joseph Robinette from E.B. White’s book


OTHER 1st rehearsal: March 21, 2017. Rehearses Tuesday-Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday days. Runs April 14-May 14, 2017 (Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday at 3pm; weekday matinees, April 18, 19, 20, 21 at 1pm; student matinees, 5-8 weekday performances at 10am). Auditions on October 18, 19 are available to Equity actors who are unable to attend these Equity audition sessions.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

John and Martha Arable:

Fern’s parents. 40 – 50s. Characters.

Homer and Edith Zuckerman:

Neighbors. 40 – 50s. Characters.

Lurvy:

Male, 19-25. Not too bright.

Wilbur:

Small, lovable, young pig.

Templeton:

Sometimes grouchy, always hungry rat.

Charlotte:

Warm, wise, and kind spider. Experienced aerial dancer.

Goose:

Character. Ageless. Cheerful.

Gander:

Character. Ageless. Energetic.

Sheep:

Character. Old, wise, simple.

Lamb:

Character. Young. Sarcastic wit.

Announcer/Uncle:

Large, prideful pig.
