[MICHAEL] THIS ROLE IS CAST. he/him, late 20s-early 30s. A former actor-turned-market research executive. He is Jon's roommate and best friend. Pop/rock baritone/baritenor.

[SUSAN] THIS ROLE IS CAST. she/her, late 20s-early 30s. A dancer and Jon's girlfriend. Sexy, kind, independent. Pop belter with strong mix.

[ALBERT PETERSON] he/him, 30s-early 40s. A young music talent agent, desperately trying to create a hit song and keep his star client, Conrad, out of trouble. A charismatic song-and-dance man – a true triple threat. Baritenor.

[ROSE ALVAREZ] THIS ROLE IS CAST. she/her, 30s, Latina. A smart, confident, feisty spitfire. Albert's long suffering secretary and loving girlfriend. Clever and pragmatic. Strong dancer - true triple threat. Alto/belter.

[CONRAD BIRDIE] he/him, 30s. Rock star and teen idol who has been drafted into the army. A 1950s sex symbol who makes both men and women swoon. Moves well. Rock and roll baritone.

[MAE PETERSON] she/her, 50s-70s. Albert's steamroller of a mother and self-proclaimed martyr. She knows her way around a guilt trip to get what she wants; strong willed but lovable in her way. Comedic. Belter.

[HARRY MACAFEE] he/him, 40s-50s. Kim’s constantly agitated and exasperated father, who loves Ed Sullivan. Comedic. Character singer.

[MRS. DORIS MACAFEE] she/her, 40s-50s. Kim’s mother. Delicate and sweet; very much an all American, Mrs. Clever type. A warm and caring mother. Musical theatre singer.

[KIM MACAFEE] she/her, 18+ to play late teens. A beautiful, young, small town girl. She is sweet, but also determined, feisty, self-possessed and idealistic. Immature yet poised; despite trying to act older than she is, it is clear she is still an impressionable, self-possessed teen. Soprano with mix.

[RANDOLPH MACAFEE] he/him, 10-12. Kim's younger brother. A little rascal with tons of personality.

[HUGO PEABODY] he/him, 18+ to play late teens. Kim's steady; nerdy but sincere. Likable and good natured, he is the dopey, average, all-American guy that perfectly matches Kim’s sweet sensibility. Singer.

[URSULA MERKLE] she/her, 18+ to play late teens. A hyper-enthusiastic friend and neighbor of Kim's. Belter.

[GLORIA RASPUTIN] she/her, 30s. A broad, tap-dancing secretary. Mae found her on the Trailways bus to replace Rose. Will also be featured in the ensemble as others. Strong singer.

[GUIDO CONTINI] he/him, late 30s-early 40s. A world famous Italian film director in the midst of a life and artistic crisis. His marriage is falling apart and he can't choose between his wife, mistress or leading lady. Passionate, charismatic, and non-cynical. Magnetic and sexy. Baritone.

[LUISA CONTINI] she/her, late 30s-early 40s. Guido’s long suffering wife. Much stronger than she’s given credit for. A former actress, she is attractive, intelligent, and chic. Strong mezzo.

[CARLA ALBANESE] she/her, late 20s-late 30s. Guido's mistress. A vulnerable sexpot. A strong singer/dancer. Soprano with a strong belt.

[CLAUDIA NARDI] she/her, early-mid 30s. The star of Guido’s films. Beautiful, sophisticated and cosmopolitan. Soprano.

[GUIDO'S MOTHER] she/her, 60s-70s. A vision of Guido’s late mother, who reminds him that she predicted his struggles from a young age. An elegant, compassionate, graceful European woman with great strength and honesty. A strong singer. Legit Soprano.

[LILIANE LA FLEUR] she/her, 40s-50s. Guido's demanding impatient French producer. Former star of the Folies­ Bergere. A diva and cunning business woman. French accent. Strong belter.

[LINA DARLING] she/her, late 30s-50s. Liliane La Fleur's mysterious accomplice. A sinister figure. Strong singer.

[STEPHANIE NECROPHORUS] she/her, 30s-50s. A harsh and cynical film critic, who is not a fan of Guido’s. Alto.

[OUR LADY OF THE SPA] she/her, 30s-50s. Guido’s ethereal guide of the spa. Strong singer.

[MAMA MADDELENA] she/her, 30s-50s. Chief of the chambermaids at the spa. Funny and feisty. Alto.

[SARRAGHINA] she/her, 40s-50s. A voluptuous prostitute who introduces young Guido to the carnal ways of the world. Alto belter.

[YOUNG GUIDO] he/him, 9. He is a wide-eyed youth learning about the world. Strong boy soprano with unchanged voice.
