SEEKING
Actors who attended our open call in April are already being considered and do not need to attend this call. Actors of color strongly encouraged to audition. Seeking female-identified actors of all ethnicities and ages for roles in BULL IN A CHINA SHOP by Bryna Turner.
PREPARATION
Bring headshot/resume to audition. Please prepare one or two contemporary monologues for a total of no more than three minutes

BREAKDOWN
All roles female-identified, all roles any ethnicity.
WOOLLEY (MARY): 35-50. The swagger of a gunslinger buttoned into an anklelength dress. University president.
MARKS (JEANNETTE): 25-40. A moody and fitful writer; Woolley’s former student and current romantic partner. A professor.
DEAN WELSH: 55-70. A tight-lipped New England type. Woolley’s subordinate, but Marks’ superior.
PEARL: 18-25. President of a secret society of fangirls of the relationship between Marks and Woolley, Marks’ obsessively devoted student.
FELICITY: 30-50. Marks’ roommate in a house off campus called Sweet Pea. A professor in the Philosophy department.
