Please note, ELON and GISELLE must look like they are in their 30s. Each of them have lived full adult lives before the action of this play takes place so it’s an important aspect of who they are.

GISELLE, mid to late 30s, a biracial Black woman (Black and White), community organizer for environmental justice, has convinced herself she’s not afraid of death, believes in people. Note: It is important to the story and central relationship in this play that Giselle has the lived experience of being biracial (Black and White). We would like you, before you submit for this role, to ask yourself first: do you feel comfortable telling this story?
