Equity Actors for roles in A CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS (see breakdown).
Please prepare a brief cut of a contemporary musical theatre song and or pop song that shows off your voice and range, appropriate to the role you are auditioning for in the show. If asked, please also have ready an additional 16-bars of a different song. Bring sheet music, accompanist will be provided. All must bring a hardcopy headshot/ resume.

A CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS
[BUTTONS] any race/ethnicity, age 24-40, male identifying. Good comedic flair, improv skills, and physical comedy a plus. Warm, friendly, audience must love him. In love with Cinderella. Singing an advantage.
[CINDERELLA] any race/ethnicity, female-identifying, age 18-30. Feisty, beautiful, vibrant, spirited. good acting ability. Strong singing voice, and able to dance.
[PRINCE] any race/ethnicity, male-identifying, age 18-35. Tall (5’9 and taller), very handsome and sturdy, strong acting ability. Powerful singing voice, dancing an advantage.
[DANDINI] any race/ethnicity, male-identifying, age 25-40. Full of personality with a good singing voice (maybe classically trained) high energy, good looking, loves himself and wants to be the prince.
[WICKED STEPMOTHER] any race/ethnicity, age 40 to 60, experienced, funny, and who the audience loves to hate. Cunning and clever and biting. Loathes Cinderella. Sings. Note: Actors of all genders encouraged to audition for this role.
[UGLY STEPSISTERS] any race/ethnicity, Age 30- 50. Funny, sinister and hate Cinderella. Lots of costume changes and lots of fun. Sings well. Traditionally played by an actor similar in type to Robin Williams, John Travolta, or Barry Humphries. Note: Actors may attend the audition alone or with a working partner.
[FAIRY GODMOTHER] any race/ethnicity, age 30-60 magical, quirky, big personality, genuine. Strong singer. (Song style: Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston). Note: Actors of all genders encouraged to audition for this role.
